Established in 1977 as A. A. Bromhead Chartered Accountants & Co., we provide external audit, tax advisory, and business consulting services to clients across diverse industries.
We are also the only U.K. Registered Auditors in Ethiopia, i.e. authorised to audit U.K. Companies, Banks and Charities accounts for UK statutory purposes.

Our Leadership Team
Alan Arthur Bromhead, FCA
A British national with over 45 years of professional practice in Ethiopia. Mr. Bromhead is the author of the "Guide for Businessmen and Investors in Ethiopia" and previously managed the joint offices of PwC and Peat Marwick Mitchell (KPMG) in Addis Ababa before established the firm in 1977.
Demissie Gebremichael, FCCA, CIA, Cert. IPSAS, BA
An Ethiopian national and former Board Member of the EPAAA. He previously served as Head of the Ministry of Industry’s Finance Department, where he oversaw the financial operations of approximately 140 enterprises nationwide.
Hailye Tadesse, FCCA, CIA, Msc, BA
Mr. Hailye Tadesse is an Ethiopian national and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) (FCCA). He has also been a member of the Global Institute of Internal Auditors since 2017 and holds the designation of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He earned his Masters degree in Accounting and Finance from Hawassa University in 2012. Mr. Hailye has served for two years as a lecturer in accounting, finance, and auditing at Debremarkos University. With more than 13 years of extensive full-time professional experience in auditing, taxation, and consulting. He brings strong expertise in addressing complex and technical tax, accounting, and financial matters for public, private, and non-profit organisations.
HaileGabriel Ezra, FCCA, Dip. in IFRS, Cert. in IPSAS, BA
Mr. Hailegabriel is an Ethiopian national and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Accountants (UK) since 2016. He possesses extensive professional experience in external audit, taxation, and financial advisory services for public, private and non-profit organisations.

We are authorised to audit the financial statements of Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) registered entities, and to issue statement of net worth and net worth certificates, prepared as an extract from audited accounts
